He married Carol Osborn 21 Oct ____; Valentine, Cherry Co., Nebraska, divorced 1991; married Danica Viles 13 June 1991, in Kansas City, Missouri.Darrin joined the US Navy and started out in VF-302 in NAS Miramar which is in San Diego, California, and was an F-14 Tomcat Squadron. He spent 4 years their with his first wife Carol, 1986 - 1990. He then moved to VF-201 in Dallas,Texas, another F-14 Squadron and was there until 1995. He was then sent to a VR-55 in San Jose, California, which is a C-130T Hercules cargo plane squadron.
In this squadron he has been around the world traveling to places like Bahrain, Guam, Thailand, Australia, Japan, Italy, Germany, England, Nova Scotia, Greece, Crete, and Spain, just to name a few. In 1999, the base in San Jose, California, was closed and he moved to Pt. Mugu, California, which is 45 miles north of Los Angelos, California.
Darrin was married again on 13 June 1999, to Danica Viles in Kansas City , Missouri, at her parents house. Danica was also in the Navy as an enlisted aircrew, which entails handling all the cargo that the plane hauls. Darrin and Danica bought a house in Oxnard, California, and plan to be there until 2001or until the Navy needs them somewhere else.
